It is a mystery as to where he went, but the interesting part of this is the FBI's confiscation of Kathryn Cramer's laptop and how she tells constant half-truths but tries to garner attention as being the only person who knows the story.

Beware of Ms. Kathryn Cramer telling half baked lies and untruths in order to cover for Joseph A. Cafasso or whatever he's calling himself these days.

He seeks the limelight; so once he's chosen his new profession and alias, he will be sure to pop up again.

A man who had been residing in Chesterton under the name of Robert Stormer and was charged with false informing in October 2008 when a DNR Conservation Officer said that he identified himself with the Social Security number of a Rhode Island girl is being held at the Porter County Jail on a charge of failure to appear.
Joseph Cafasso, 52, was taken into custody on Jan. 22 on a warrant charging him with failure to appear, court documents show. According to the Inmate Information System at the Porter County Jail, he is being held on a $500 cash-only bond, with no release date presently scheduled.

At 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 2, Conservation Officer Robert Cauffman stopped a male subject on the main road leading into Indiana Dunes State Park after clocking him at 35 miles per hour in a zone posted at 20 mph, Cauffman stated in his incident report.
The subject, who identified himself as Robert Stormer, 58, advised Cauffman that he did not have his Rhode Island-issued driver's license with him. Cauffman stated that when he ran the name Robert Stormer, it “came back not on file” in both Indiana and Rhode Island. Cauffman further stated that when he ran the Social Security number provided by Stormer, it returned to a 13-year-old Rhode Island girl.

Although the subject repeatedly insisted that his name is Robert Stormer and that there must be a problem with the computers, he eventually admitted to being Joseph Cafasso, 52, Cauffman stated. A second computer check listed his driver’s license in Rhode Island as suspended.

“During this conversation he stated he was hiding from members of the CIA and FBI along with several other stories,” Cauffman stated.

In addition to the charge of false informing—a Class B misdemeanor punishable by a term of up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine—citations for speeding and driving while suspended-infraction were issued to Cafasso and an initial hearing was scheduled for Nov. 17.

Court documents show that Cafasso did not appear at the hearing and a bench warrant for his arrest on a charge of failure to appear was issued on Nov. 24. Cafasso was arrested on the FTA charge on Jan. 22, he entered a plea of not guilty on Jan. 23, and a bench trial before Porter Superior Court Judge Julia Jent has been scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on Nov. 19, court documents also show.

Meanwhile, on Feb. 2, a woman who said that she had met a person calling himself Robert Stormer on an on-line dating service, and later lived with him, asked Chesterton Police to take custody of a computer which she said belongs to Cafasso. The woman advised the CPD that her son had recently been contacted by a man whom she believes to be a “Special Forces soldier who went rogue and tortured people in Afghanistan” and was subsequently “jailed in a military prison.” That man, she advised the CPD, “blames Cafasso for his troubles” on the ground that Cafasso “was instrumental in building a case against” him.
The CPD did take custody of the computer at Cauffman's request, police said, after Cauffman indicated that he may apply for a warrant to search the computer as part of an ongoing investigation of Cafasso.

Last week, however, Cauffman told the Chesterton Tribune, through a spokesperson, that he is no longer discussing the Cafasso case and has turned it over to the FBI. Special Agent Wendy Osborne of the FBI's Indianapolis office told the Tribune that, per policy, she can neither confirm nor deny the existence of any ongoing investigation.

The responding CPD officer appended to his report a Wikipedia entry purportedly on a Joseph A. Cafasso which claims, among other things, that a man under the name of Cafasso had worked for Fox News as a military and counterterrorism analyst until leaving the network when allegations surfaced that he had misrepresented his military record.

Kathryn Cramer's update from 2008 shows Cafasso expanding his repertoire of aliases, claiming he's from Chicago, Illinois - and involved in shipping of some kind - calling himself "Shipdude" on dating websites . "Robin Storm" and "Robert Stormer" are two of the 15 or so new aliases she claims he's using, and points to the Blog "No Quarter" as a place where he's writing under the pen name of "Robert Stormer".

In addition, I find it more than hypocritical of her to talk about the numerous blogs that sprouted regarding Joe Cafasso when she was in the thick of it with him and served as his accomplice in his elaborate con games. KC's crimes of collusion go as far to condoning the con and beating of a woman in order to get information they could doctor to implicate Idema in Serbian crimes. KC stood idly by-- condoning the behavior and telling the woman she needed to 'trust' Cafasso.

"I have no connection with various Jack Idema-connected disingenuous new attack blogs devoted to the subject of Cafasso. They display an alarming lack of empathy for both Cafasso's targets and his family."

No one needs to "trust" Cafasso and if they do, they do so at their peril, and the same can be said of trusting KC.

In addition, she forgets her alarming lack of empathy for anyone but herself and her own scrawny neck.

These Cafasso blogs, are also referred to as "Jack-Idema-connected" - blogs; but she conveniently refuses to acknowledge Cafasso's long and intense rivalry and resentment toward Idema, or that she herself stalked his father. She talks about having compassion toward Cafasso's victims; positioning herself as one of them--although he is using the mac laptop that she provided him, and paid for a hotel on her American Express card that she also provided him.

These blogs-and I know the writers- are in no way shape or form connected with Jack Idema, although I personally find Idema a lot more credible than Joe Cafasso; all you need do is compare. Idema has never pretended to be anyone other than who he is, and he hasn't the time or inclination to incessantly troll the internet pretending to be numerous characters. Neither has Idema been entering into written conversations with himself in comments sections and internet discussion forums, portraying himself as different people. Cafasso, like KC, has a definite affinity for the fantasy and the lie; which is why they were attracted to each other.

KC is living in a fantasyworld of science fiction intrigue similar to that of her sci fi associate-Terry Bisson; and travels in the same socialist circles. KC likes to pretend in real life to be a covert Mata Hari like character when all she is-is a housewife yearning for attention. If she were as brilliant as she would have people think, she wouldn't have been taken in by Cafasso, or tell people she'd fallen for him-or that she was preparing to leave her husband.

KC has been spending an inordinate amount of time editing Jack Idema's wikipedia page along with other Idema-obsessed associates such as Robert Young Pelton.

But you can continue to sit there, project the things you hate about yourself onto other people and continue to live in denial while other people clean up your messes.

What's happening is your own people - your own supporters are in a feeding frenzy as if they're a pool of pirhanas over your lying to them, which is something anyone with any sense could predict.

Several have observed some striking similarities between the posts at the Mitch and Nan Show and Cafasso's Stuporpatriots...not to mention that Covington has used information from Stuporpatriots at the Mitch and Nan Show.

Just as it was between Cramer's pimping of Stuporpatriots blogposts, it would appear there is more to this than meets the eye.

There very possibly could be TWO con artist behind the Mitch and Nan Show blog....one Scott Covington, and one Joe Cafasso.

I don't think it's a fantastic or far-feteched conclusion to make.

None of these things happen purely because of coincidence.

This is like deja vu in a way. We had started up a number of blogs to combat the disinformation campaign of Joe Cafasso, and lo and behold, we have another one, even using Stuporpatriots as a source of illegal information.

Does Scott Covington have a problem with multiple personality disorder? Did he crack after Ron Paul didn't get the election bid, or was he on his way there, anyway?

This is a code blue - pass it on. As already posted by 10-31, YWN, Carteret Con Artist, Causal Nexus, and a number of others - Covington is getting a name for himself - but not exactly the name he was looking for, because he's been exposed as a con artist and criminal - much worse than he could ever accuse Larry Sinclair of being.

The fact that he fleeced people out of money for expensive pianos that he never delivered from his "Piano Store" and then expected daddy to bail him out of the financial woes he created is a pitiful situation.

At any rate, "Mitch", the supposed frenchman from the M&N Show - which is similar to a sideshow if you've ever seen one at the circus - only on the internet -

But...just like Joe Cafasso, our illustrious con artist who has gone deep underground now that Jack Idema could be walking down a New Jersey street near his mom's old house....these conmen can be as slippery as eels, but are known to slip up from time to time.

I think Obama's people are going to be terribly embarrassed, just like Covington's daddy and family has been over Covington's crimes and his current cyberstalking and telephone harassment of Larry Sinclair's mother.

You see, Larry Sinclair's mother was given a phone call in April by this Covington character. He demanded money that was donated to Sinclair's legal fund and Sinclair's mom responded that he should contact the attorney. She asked his name, and he said that wasn't important.

Now...if you are in earnest about getting the money that you donated, then I think that was a reasonable question to ask.

The caller claimed that his Mother had sent money that she couldn’t afford several times to Larry’s legal fund. Larry's mom asked her name and he said that wasn’t necessary. Larry's mom assured him that the attorney would refund the money. All they had to do was contact the attorney.

He claimed he had no idea how his Mother knew about the legal fund and that she had sent money orders in excess of $200.00. He then began berating her, calling her names and insisting that she pay the money. She assured him she had nothing to do with anything and that all he needed to do was contact the attorney. He became very beligerent and started screaming what Larry's mom termed as "filth" at her. She simply said She was sorry and hung up.

She then called the number (713-524-8449) that was on the caller ID, and it was Scott Wayne Covington, of the Piano Store. His voice mail gave the name, The Piano Store at address, 3701 Kirby Dr; Ste. 105, Houston, Texas, 77098.

Joe is busy on Wikipedia denying that he was 'outted' as a fraud, and denying that he was fired by Fox, somehow expecting people to believe what he's saying.

Somehow he's turning the tables, saying that nobody asked him about blah, blah, blah. As I recall, the way it was left with Fox, was the same way it was left in a number of other Cafasso-related incidents; he was asked to come back and prove himself.

And *poof* he disappeared, just like he disappeared in Mississippi.

This is a classic example of a psychopath; even at the end, John Wayne Gacy expected to be released from prison, even when they were preparing the lethal injection.

The claims this man have made leave my head to spinning. He said he had a place in France, a 1940's clipper ship at Bannister's Wharf, he's a Vietnam Vet, he rescued his comrades off a burning C-130 during Desert One, he has a top clearance which affords him direct accessto the Whitehouse, he worked for the Buchanan campaign (the first truth yet), was outted by Fox and others news organizations when they discovered what and who he is--a fraud and a liar, and that his military record consisted of 44 stinkin' days in the army before he was declared 'unsuitable for military service'. I'd like to know what that unsuitability entailed, exactly.

Regardless, this man is so full of bs, your detector should be sounding the alarm.

Why hasn't this man been recognized for what he is by the people he's 'in with', or does it not matter to them that he isn't what he claims to be at all? I've been watching his commentaries on the yahoogroup and on the radsafe group, and he says he 'monitors a number of lists'. What a pathetic existence this man must lead that this is all he does with his time; make sure he wastes everyone else's with his pontifications and rants on subjects he doesn't know hide nor hair about.

Oh but we think that Cafasso LOVES the press, and wants to be considered one of them! How else do you explain his cozying up to people at the Columbia Journalism School, having Mariah Blake write a piece that he was quoted in called Tin Soldier, being a member of the Committee for Concerned Journalists under two different names, and writing an article at Worldnet Daily about Flight 800? This guy LOVES the press! And we're looking for verification of his having never graduated High School! That would be hysterically funny now, wouldn't it? Considering his nonexist degrees from Texas A&M, Brown University, etc.? It's too amusing for words!

Military expert revealed to have limited training

For more than four months, Cafasso assisted and shared tips with reporters, producers and on-air consultants. Then on March 11, he abruptly left Fox amid complaints that he had overstepped his bounds and become an annoyance. Soon afterward, Fox News, and many associates of Cafasso, learned that his office style may have been the least of his problems. The real story, many people say, was that he was not who he said he was. He released a statement yesterday in which he said he was the victim of a "gossip campaign" by "self-centered individuals with their own political agendas." People at Fox News had taken his claims at face value.

I think that's from Rutenberg's article, but that article should get wider acceptance and acclaim than it's received because of Cafasso' negative campaign against Rutenberg for writing it.

Now we have a couple of interesting points that Causal Nexus probably should have broken up into two or three different posts. Here is one of those points.

Cafasso's claims of bravery and heroism span the globe. He has claimed he fought in Vietnam, which is of extreme entertainment value since simple arithmetic tells us that's impossible; he's not old enough. Another standard theme for Cafasso's vivid imagination is this version; that he never actually made it to Vietnam, but instead, was fighting in Laos. A source from the UN UNIFEM contacted us and said that Cafasso posing as Blackwood this summer actually got up and spoke and embarassed a few people in the room becaues when he said he was working for Knightsbridge because he killed a 14-year-old when he was working a black op during Vietnam. The public admission of such a thing only equates to the tall tales of the fake veterans participating in the Winter Soldier Investigation. So we ask you: What kind of man stands up and publicly and states that he killed a child during a war that he never fought in???

I think that is appalling. And wtf is Knightsbridge? Going to have to investigate that. From a quick view on the internet, there seems to be duplicity where Ed Artist, the Knightsbridge hero is concerned. One is-that he's a hero humanitarian, the other is that he's a fraud poser like Joe Cafasso who even used the same lawyer with Cafasso when in litigation with Jack Idema. Birds of a feather flock together, I doubt that one is legitimate and the other is not. And the records of Cafasso being a fraud are long, detailed, and far-reaching. I wonder if he was a fraud poser when he was in school, too. AND, I wonder what launched his fraud career. Was it his failed marriage? His resistance to paying child support? And what made him such a nasty vindictive man?

Here's the other point in Carteret Con Artist's same post;

More recently, Joe Cafasso still insisting he was Gerry P. Blackwood, told a Washington DC attorney he was fighting near where that attorney fought during the Vietnam War. That attorney believed him until the FBI called that attorney and straightened him out with the truth!

* In 1999 - Cafasso along with Serbian Americans was Anti-War!
* In 2001 - 2002, Cafasso claimed to know what was going on in Afghanistan more so than those on the ground. Even a noted Marine Colonel on air at FOX thought Cafasso was a baffoon before he was sacked.
* In 2004 on OUTFOXED, Cafasso was blasting FOX News. FOX discovered the false military credentials and false tales of nonexistent experiences, and pushed him out the door so of course, he was going to hold a grudge. Cafasso breaths revenge! Crikey, he is not man enough to accept responsibility for lying, so he needs to find someone to blame.

As a distinguished lieutenantcolonel who had served in Vietnam, been part of the mission to save US hostages in Iran and won the Silver Star for bravery, Joseph Cafasso seemed like the perfect consultant to help Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel with its war coverage.

There was only one problem: the military experience of the "colonel" now appears to have been 44 days in a boot camp in New Jersey in 1976, followed by an honourable discharge in the rank of private.

For more than four months, Mr Cafasso was part of the Fox News team covering the war in Afghanistan. His impressive range of contacts in the military stemmed, he suggested, from his time in the elite Special Forces, the US equivalent of the SAS.

But an investigation by The New York Times indicates that his military career started and ended 25 years ago. Fox News has now parted company with Mr Cafasso, but claims that none of the information he supplied to it has so far turned out to be wrong.

In an email to The New York Times, Mr Cafasso claimed that he was the victim of "political assassination by a group of selfcentred individuals with their own political agendas".

The revelation is an embarrassment to Fox, which has also been trying to combat claims of conservative bias in its coverage of world

Related, but not quite as daring, is the act of résumé-padding or exaggeration by which U.S. President Clinton’s ambassador to Switzerland Larry Lawrence claimed to be a World War II hero, Congressman Wes Cooley claimed to be an Army Special Forces veteran (emulating but not surpassing Representative Douglas R. Stringfellow’s fictitious war record), U.S. Federal District Judge James Ware posthumously adopted a victim of a racist shooting as his brother, and Fox News consultant Joseph A. Cafasso leveraged 44 days in bootcamp into a Special Forces Lieutenant Colonel’s résumé. There’s a lot of this going around.

And, predictably, after the 9/11 attacks, a number of people came forward falsely claiming to have been victims.

Fox Executives shared that Mr. Cafasso often worked late hours following leads through his many sources. He set up interviews with officials in the military and offered guidance to producers trying to understand the situation in Afghanistan.

He developed skills on the network's graphics computer - used for on-screen maps - and prepared briefing packages with news clippings for commentators.

So...are we to conclude that this man knows how to manipulate google maps?

"He knew more about the military and the Pentagon than most reporters we deal with," said a military officer at the Defense Department who was surprised to hear that he was not a decorated veteran.

But a crackpot FOOL with a fake background shouldn't be fooling around in issues regarding national security or other highly sensitive areas.

He called Cingular and tried to put his name on my account. Then called them back and literally rerouted my mail. I did not find out about this until...I went into Cingular. When he called Cingular....they kept a record of what he did. Immediately I changed the address on the bill and put in a password.

The bill which he rerouted indeed went to that address. Those people then sent it back to Cingular. They forwarded it to me at the new address. I have the envelope with that rerouted address!

He is too stupid to realize that there are records and evidence!

Rutenberg's article was probably a devastating event in Cafasso's life because of the impact it had on his scams. How dare anyone cross the magnificent Cafasso! But there are a lot more people aware of his games than met the eye when that piece came out; it succinctly put into perspective the mind of someone who thinks so little of other people, that lies literally tumbles out of his mouth, tailored for the situation to get 'oohs and 'ahs'. These lies lead from one person to the next, and so he's able to build a network of people who will 'vouch' for him. But we should bear in mind the wreckage he leaves in his wake; he's preying on peoples' good nature. He was a campaign organizer for Pat Buchanan, but when the rightwing threw their hands up in disgust, he wasn't deterred. He turned around to people who would sympathize for his victimhood when he was fired for being a fraud at Fox News. They leftwing giddily welcomed him into their midst as their latest 'victim' of the 'religious rightwing'. This is why he's written so much about it at his blog, "Stuporpatriots".

Mr. Cafasso had promised to appear at The New York Times to provide documents contradicting records that he only served in boot camp but never appeared. Military officials said they had no record of anyone named Joseph Cafasso retiring as an lieutenant colonel.

Because he didn't! He DIDN'T even SERVE except for 44 days..or was it 47? After 40-something days, he was determined to be unsuitable for service, so they KICKED HIM OUT ON HIS BUTT. But for some reason he is very determined that everyone think he's former US army, and he loves to talk the military talk with people. The problem with that is-there are some genuine military men and women who don't take very kindly to posers and frauds. He ran across such an individual in Jack Idema, who is an 'in-your-face' kind of a man. One soldier said he's a lightening rod for posers, and it would seem so. Like a firefly to the flame, Cafasso came close enough to get burned. And it still might happen, because he's not in a very good shape with his family, or his financial standing.

Mr. Cafasso, it appears, has used his story of battlefield glories to make friends, find work, and perhaps most importantly, find acceptance among people who walk the fringes of Washington's power corridors, networking his way through a community of retired military officers to arrive at Fox News.

And that's not the half of it. Cafasso also goes after anyone who goes against the grain of his self-appointed personal agendas. This is clearly the behavior of a stalker or worse. It's conceivable that one day he'll run across the wrong person, and he'll either wind up in the hospital, or dead.

Word has it that the only reason Cafasso is doing what he's doing as far as Idema is concerned is because Idema isn't in the country, and Cafasso is dumb enough to think the guy is never coming back. As one person said 'that would be a big mistake if you knew Idema.'

First I will not take any crap from anyone on any list.
Second, i am not just a nuclear physicist but also a
retired US Army Officer. Third, there are many military
both active, former and retired from many countries on
this list, all of which understand what the writers of
this message were saying. While my politics is my
business and none of your, of which it may just
surprise you on how I stand on the current US policy.
While soldiers in a free society who take their orders
from civilians have very little to do with the politics
of war except to live with the scars of it for the rest
of their lives and that is if they survive it ( Enjoy
your safety). I have made no insults to other nationals
on this list or any other list and take offense to you
and your insults. You Europeans as you state, better
get a real handle on what you believe "WE AMERICANS"
really stand for besides the crap you hear in the media
and the propaganda of your own media outlets.

Lastly, I am NOT ASHAMED of who I am, what I stand for,
the combat and HUMANITARIAN missions i have
participated in and I am NOT ashamed that I served with
the United States Military.

Apparently, "WE AMERICANS" are only good when we act as

This is a result of googling NALCCG. You see, Joe Cafasso is up at the Committee for Concerned Journalists. First, he's listed as J. Anthony Cafasso and not as a part of the "citizen" category of CCJ, but as J. Anthony Cafasso, Director of NALCCG. Now, you are going to ask me what NALCCG is? I have no clue, but I googled it, and there are some interesting links which are rapidly disappearing. One is totally written in some scientific GEEK language that is way above my paygrade and brain, you'll see it below.

One he signs off with his company listed in Rhode Island, New York and New Jersey at Gerry Blackwood PHD. When you look at the list of members for the Committee for Concerned Journalists, you'll see just as plain as the nose on your face, J. Anthony Cafasso of NALCCG this psycho is SIMULTANEOUSLY writing as Gerry Blackwood, the dude with the PHD of NALCCG! Whatever that is. He likes to claim he's a big wig all the time, he only he changes his occupation or name and the tales of heroism to fit the situation. Here's the link that's way above my pay grade:

This site has a bunch of scientific gobblygook but that doesn't stop Cafasso, he's just like that guy in the movie Catch Me If You Can - Frank Abagnale Jr. Joe Cafasso is like a scumbag version of Abagnale; throwing the same games, only not as suave and sophisticated. More like a gangsta version. Or a poor man's version of Abagnale.

The difference between the two is that Frank Abagnale turned his life around for the good; Joe Cafasso is really 'into' his different personas. He's really 'into' what he's doing. Someone said this before, and I heartily agree with the notion that he has such low self esteem that in his Walter Mitty mind he magnifies himself into a God-like figure, while everyone around him is considered an idiot. It's the only way he gets through the day. Delusions of grandeur, as one person put it recently; that's what Joe Cafasso has. And magnified to the point of practically being in sane. Examining his writings confirms that this is someone who's definitely off-center. And I should add, dangerous. This is a man who's been getting away with this for so long he thinks he's untouchable. That's why we must focus our attentions on exposing what he's been doing. I'm surprised more media attention hasn't been focused on his antics, because when you put them together, they'd make a great book! Or movie! And it would be full of twists and turns, and it would also very funny and even ironic. What's happened with him politically is he's gone from one side of the spectrum full swing to the other because -when people find out who he is and what he's been doing, the "thrill is gone". That might not happen with the company he's keeping now, because he's found a lot of people who have no morality, don't recognize morality, don't recognize right or wrong-just their agendas and their willingness to do anything to serve those agendas. And that's what makes it frightening. If you have respect for the law, that's one thing. You conform to the norms of society. But when you have no respect for the law, then you're more apt to break them to accomplish your goals. This is what's disturbing about the man.

Bill, one of the ways we use to do this was to use what we knew
as "Secret Sandbag notes" only known to a few controllers or
added by a few controllers....As personnel would respond to the
situation we would "increase" or decrease" the situation or
conditions as the drill continued. The idea was to throw as many
real world monkey wrenches into the works as possible to see
reaction. I am sure this is still done today....Gerry

Here we are, starting a journey that might last a very long time. This is the journey of tracking a known con artist and jailbird, Joe Cafasso, previously of Carteret New Jersey, but who's probably living in the Bronx with a bunch of felons and other people of his caliber.
